Shalnark x Feitan Doujinshi

Hello everyone! I'm new here, Nice to meet you all!
I was wondering if anyone could help me find this doujin. A purchase link (in stock), scans, or even another LJ member who is selling works too. Checked Otaku Republic, out of stock. Nowhere to be found anywhere else. Already requested Otaku Republic to restock, but who knows how long that will take. :P
If found, I can definitely translate, but I'm not too confident in my editing skills to do a full blown scanslation (I suck at editing..)

Title: そういうプレイです!

Author: Pairing: Shalnark x Feitan

Thanks all everyone ^_^

Doujinshi for Sale

posted by: chisumo in hxh_doujinshi

Hi, I hope this is an appropriate post to this community. I'm cleaning out the house and I have some HxH doujinshi (in Japanese) for sale.
Double H 1-8, 10 (yeah, missing 9, idk what happened..)
Hunt a Go Go 1-3
Hunter's Cafe 1-5
Lemoned I Screamed
I'm moving in a week and would like to mail these out ASAP. Asking price for everything is $80 total including shipping. I've been out of the loop for a while, so not sure if that's too high or low or whatever. Totally negotiable, I just want to find a good new home for them. I can also sell separate sets if there aren't any takers right away. I'll throw in the posters (1, 2, 3, 4) as extras. I can do paypal, venmo, and square cash, lol.
Also selling manga.Collapse )

All existing members, please ignore this post as it does not apply to you. This is a public post meant to be visible for non-members upon initially discovering this site.

It has been expressed to me by multiple individuals recently that they initially thought this page was inactive because they were not seeing any releases. This is, of course, because they were not aware they needed to create an LJ account and then JOIN the community to access content. So let's go ahead and make this plain:

If you do not do this, this page will appear to be dead/inactive, and that is certainly NOT THE CASE.

Hope this will eliminate any confusion moving forward. That's all, move along friends.

Re: Help Request

Going to bump this so anyone new here can still see it. Like Willeke said, we have enough editors now (thank you VERY much by the way!), but what we're looking for now are additional translators. Willeke is our sole translator right now, so she has a very heavy workload. If anyone here is able and willing to lend her a hand, it would be greatly appreciated by everyone!

Hi everyone! As you might have noticed, Japanese artists still keep writing more and more amazing doujinshi! It's become so much that abru1988 and I are unable to keep up with everything. We now have a huge backlog of older doujinshi that still need to be translated and edited, and more new doujinshi keeps coming out as well.

So we're looking for the following people who are willing to help us out with creating scanlations for this community:

- Editors: People who clean the raw scans and do the typesetting. So basically you erase Japanese text from the picture and put the English text to it, while referring to a text-only translation file you got from the translator. Preferably the same person should be able to do cleaning AND typesetting, because it's easier to typeset something which you've also cleaned yourself, and it greatly simplifies the scanlation process. We use the free image editing software "Paint.net" for editing, but you can use any program you like, as long as you use fonts which are appropriate for manga. (We can show you where and how to get one.) We have enough editors for now, thank you! <3

- Translators: People who can translate Japanese to English at a relatively high level. Preferably at least JLPT N2 level, but if you've never done JLPT and are confident in your manga translation skills, we'll gladly welcome you as well. You don't need to be a native speaker of either language (I'm not, either.) as long as you can understand written Japanese without furigana, and write a translation in coherent English, that's sufficient. No image editing skills are needed to be a translator, you can just write the translations as a text file.

- Scanners (With lower priority, but still appreciated): People who can provide us with raw scans to scanlate. If you have bought any HxH doujinshi that's lying around untranslated, please show us what it is to make sure we don't have it already, and if not, we'd appreciate it a lot if you could scan them and post them to the community. We have a LOT to work on right now so it might take a while until we get to your scans, but hopefully we'll be able to handle more releases in the future, once we've got more people helping out.

We'd prefer it if you are okay working with adult material (assuming you're all adults, because you are here xD). We also need you to be enthousiastic about doujinshi (of course!) and are willing to spend your time working on them without any monetary compensation. It's what we've been doing all along, too! Doujinshi artists don't draw their works for financial profit, so we're not looking to offer or receive any money for them either. All that's important is the HxH love, and contribution to the fandom. <3

There is no release schedule or deadlines or anything, which means you can work on things at your own pace, whenever you have free time. But we do request that you only start working with the intention of actually finishing it, and keep us updated on your progress once in a while. And of course it's okay if you can't continue working due to unforseen circumstances, but in those cases. please TELL us if possible, so someone else can take over.

We're currently in the process of setting up a communication platform for HxH doujinshi scanlators, so we can easily communicate and share files between ourselves. I'll give the private link to it via PM to people who agree to join. By joining, you promise you'll keep to the community's rules. So please don't redistribute the link or any files you're given access to, and only post finished releases within this community (or send them to your friends in private only).

We hope to hear from you soon if you're interested in helping! Or feel free to ask if you have any questions I didn't cover in this post.

Hello again, and Happy New Year to all of you!

...Well, almost all of you. Because there is at least one traitor amongst us.
I was notified that doujinshi which were ONLY shared in locked posts here, are STILL showing up on public manga reader sites. I don't want to sound repetitive because I know I've said it before, but please, PLEASE PLEASE cut it out!! Do not redistribute any doujinshi from locked post in this community! You probably have no idea how harmful this is. Not only to people (possibly minors!!) who might stumble upon adult doujinshi while they're NOT looking for things like that, but also to the original artists, and to doujinshi fans themselves.

Let me quote from this insightful post:

"Fiction: Doujinshi creators want more people reading their work.

Fact: It's important to understand the Japanese need for discretion, something which seems to be difficult for a lot of westerners to grasp. The reason that the parody doujinshi market is allowed to thrive the way it does is based on the artists respecting the wishes of the creators and not getting carried away by success, and part of this involves controlling the circulation of their work so that it doesn't cause the original creators of a series any trouble. I have never met a doujinshi artist who wants their parody work to be widely known outside of the community of fans they created it for. They do benefit from greater exposure to their original and authorised projects, but unauthorised parodies are supposed to be handled with discretion. This unspoken rule is at the heart of why Japanese copyright holders can peacefully coexist with doujinshi circles, and it's also why large scale digital distribution of unauthorised doujinshi scans is seen as such a serious problem."

So in other words, the doujinshi authors may get in serious trouble if the copyright holders of the characters and series they're parodying, are easily able to find their works online. In that case they will be forced to quit their activities (And so, we wouldn't get any doujinshi from them anymore at all!)

I don't agree with everything in the above post though. For one, I think it is okay to make doujinshi more accessible to non-Japanese speaking fans, especially when the doujinshi in question are out of print or otherwise impossible to find and buy. It's fine to enjoy doujinshi, and if you want to share the enjoyment with your friends, that's fine too, but DISCRETION is still the keyword!!! If you want to share, please direct people to this community, or send the doujinshi to your friends in PRIVATE, not on public websites!!!!

I don't want to start working with passwords or anything, because that'd be so bothersome for all of us, and it still wouldn't be 100% fool proof. So all I can do is explain the reasoning behind the rule, and hope that everyone here is enough of a civilized human being to understand it...  Most of you are probably really awesome about this, but as long as there is as much as one person not following this simple rule, they are at risk of ruining everything for everyone else.

So please, please understand this, so that we may be able to share and enjoy many more amazing doujinshi in 2015!
m(_ _)m

Translation request.

I have found few doujinshi surfing around internet. And I am willing to translate them.
I have 3-4 doujinshi with me of various pairings. I really want someone to translate them for me. If someone translates them, I am completely willing to do the job of typesetting.
I don’t remember proper information of scanlator or anyone right now. But it is available with me. Information of Doujinka and doujinshis I have is following:

>Cat kill fever by Sakana & Kumako
Pairings: KilluaxGon, KilluaxIllumi, KilluaxHisoka, KilluaxKurapika
Ratings: T
>Erotic meruhen by Gin Kemeko (Summer Child)
Pairings: KilluaxGon implied LeorioxKurapika
Ratings: T
>Watashi wa uso wo tsukunai(I always tell lies.)
Pairings: No pairings. Maybe a little GonxKurapika.
Ratings: G
>Lovemechain by Nobitaobi
Pairings: LeorioxKurapika
Ratings: M or adult

If anyone willing to translate and help me, please contact me. I can’t understand Japanese and I’m not willing to post raw doujinshi in community, that’s why I want to translate them.

[Raw] 月の魚

This is my first time posting anything so I apologize if I messed up somewhere.

I tried to make the scans look as nice as possible, and already edited them. I tried to fix the gutter blurs but sometimes it was just impossible. If translations show up I'd like this to look make this look presentable, so I'd like to take care of the typesetting too unless there's someone who can do a better job. I'm not exactly good at it by the way. Sorry if it looks a little too blue; it looked fine on my PC but on the laptop it looks like it has a blue filter over it.

Anyway, share this as much as you want, wherever you want, however you want! No need for credits or links. You're free to translate it too but there's just one condition: I don't want to deal with the troubles that come with people sharing stuff without the worker's permission so if you're not okay with having people share your translations as much as they like then please don't use these raws.

This looked really cute. I love this artist so hopefully I'll be able to get more of their works soon. The file is kinda big, the images are in PSD (added PNG). If you don't have a viewer that can display these properly I recommend you get HoneyView. I kept them as PSD for easier editing, so if you want to change them to png or whatever go ahead.
